The
Rome Hotel Continentale enjoys an ideal location just within the
ancient city walls. Just on the edge of the historical centre, this
budget Rome hotel provides the perfect starting point from which
to tour the city – don’t forget, the Hotel Continentale
also specialises in city tours – check our Services
page for details.
The building dates back to the 19th century and the unobtrusive
façade blends in neatly with the surrounding edifices of
this prestigious zone on the east side of the city centre. Just
a few minutes walk from the central train station, Termini,
this charming albergo is within easy walking distance of the historical
centre’s most beautiful and famous treasures.
A short walk to the west brings us to La Dolce Vita Roma :
the Trevi Fountain in which Anita Eckberg famously
frolics; Piazza della Repubblica – best enjoyed
by scooter with sunglasses; and Via Veneto - the
winding home of many of the city’s most chic restaurants.
